Black Friday is almost upon us, but this year’s shoppers are eager to skip the lines. A recent eBay study found that 76% of would-be buyers…more than three quarters…would give something up rather than endure the chaos of Black Friday lines, while 26%…that’s one out of every four…would rather have a root canal.
Still, Black Friday shoppers expect deeper discounts, so eBay is giving them early access online with its new campaign, “Don’t Wait for Black Friday” deals. From November 13-17, with many retailers announcing their top Black Friday deals in advance, eBay will match the prices on many of those same top deals. New deals will be offered every day, all with fast and free shipping, on brand-new items from top brands like Ninja, Samsung, and Apple, among others.
The full list of items eligible for “Don’t Wait for Black Friday” deals can be found at https://www.ebay.com/DontWaitForBlackFriday.
When it comes to holiday shopping, a new eBay study found that 45% of Americans start their holiday shopping well before Black Friday. They also found that choice and convenience are the biggest reasons shoppers start shopping sooner in the season, so eBay is making “First Minute” shopping easy and rewarding with new early deals, fast delivery and price matching.
Exclusive First Minute deals include some of the hottest holiday gifts, from top brands like Adidas, Dyson, Mattel, KitchenAid and more. The recent launch of eBay’s new Guaranteed Delivery program means that delivery in three days or less will be offered on millions of items.
In addition, Bay’s Price Match Guarantee on more than 50,000 deals will ensure that shoppers get the best value on top gifts across all categories, because all season long, eBay will match the best price from competitors — including Amazon, Walmart, Target, Home Depot, Best Buy and more —even on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, when many other retailers won’t match prices.
Says Suzy Deering, eBay’s Chief Marketing Officer for North America, “There’s simply no reason to wait for Black Friday to find the best prices or top gifts this holiday season when shoppers can start and finish early with eBay!”
