Advice for the Entrepreneur: Lee’s Tip #110

11 Nov 2014 Uncategorized

Veterans Day was originally known as Armistice Day, and it still is celebrated as such in other countries. It marks the occasion of the armistice between the Allied Forces and Germany, which took effect at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month on November 11, 1918, and presaged the end of World War I, known at that time as the Great War. The original concept for the celebration was for a day observed with parades and public meetings and a brief suspension of business beginning at 11am. So today at 11am PT, when today’s encore broadcast of eBay Radio begins, take a moment and reflect upon the entrepreneurial freedom we enjoy thanks to those who have fought for our country. And whenever you get a chance, thank a veteran for their service!
