Follow the money, honey! How much time do you waste on non-revenue-producing tasks? Think about it. You should be giving 95% of your time each day to bringing in money or following up on items that mean money for your bottom line. Here is an idea that I use: Have a special in-basket for anything that can help bring in money. This could include, for instance, answering your buyer’s emails; answering your prospects’ emails; looking over new ideas for product sourcing; keeping up with your bookkeeping; etc. Everything else goes into the regular To-Do basket. This is in addition to your actual product sourcing, listing, and shipping. Let “Follow the Money, Honey” be your mantra. It will serve you well.
